iShowSpeed is the Future of Entertainment
As a 30-something year old millennial I’ve been exploring the online world to see what the youth are doing and I came across a streamer know as iShowSpeed.
I was blown away at his energy, his fanbase, and his content style.
From what I saw his content mainly involves him traveling around to different countries while live-streaming and bringing his chaotic, infectious energy with him everywhere he goes. This often leads to crazy mobs of fans finding his location and crating chaos in the streets.
What I found interesting about this is how global and cross-cultural this whole phenomenon is. Speed dives straight into foreign cultures, trying scorpions, doing Muay Thai fighting in Thailand, eating KFC in Korea while simultaneously incorporating his fanbase as part of the live-streaming, feeding into the chaotic energy as well as showcasing different cultures around the globe.
It’s a maddening cross-cultural collaboration of real-time interactions and spontaneous culture shock revealed through a humorous and wild energetic thread.
